Hi, new friend. Come get to know me.

It’s Lyd here, the barefoot kind of soul. Drawn to quiet light, moody skies, and the place where shadows and the sun meet just right. Photography isn’t just what I do, it’s how I see the world: full of wonder, warmth, and stories waiting to be told. I find joy and chasing blue hour, making people laugh, and turning fleeting moments into forever memories. Whether I’m deep in the woods, by the sea, or tucked into the valleys and river in between. I’ll always show up with my heart, full intention, and a whole lot of love for what I do.

What I’m drawn to.

I’m really connected to the kind of beauty that you can feel. The untamed, soulful kind that lives in love, laughter, and the land around us. Whether it’s two hearts promising forever, a family caught up in joy, wild little ones running barefoot, or golden light pouring through a quiet space, I am there for it all. I document love in all forms, from weddings and elopements to every day moments and connections. I also find inspiration in the stillness: the texture of old walls, the curve of a handmade piece, and the way around the earth. Every session is a chance to slow down, see clearly, and preserve what’s real. Think of me as a creative handyman with a heart that finds all things beautiful. I’m always ready to bring visions and feeling into every frame.

Who I am, beyond the camera.

Caffeinated or Cherryfied?

Some call it indecision, I call it a healthy balance: I have coffee when I need a kick, and a Cherry Coke Zero when I need a smile. Either way, it’s my fuel for life, creativity, and all the perfectly strange moments I come across in between.

Creative while the cameras are down.

When I’m not behind the lens, you’ll usually find me crafting something with my hands. Painting, jewelry making, crocheting, baking, or dreaming up my next big idea. I love turning peaceful moments into little burst of creativity.

Records, rhythm, and good feels.

Music is my daily rhythm. It’s spinning vinyls, filling rooms with tunes, and humming along while I edit. I’ve got a large record collection, that’s been in the works for many years now, and I’m quite proud of it. They very much are my prized possessions.
